First of all, this is my first journal post, and I like to give a shoutout to all the artists who are reading this, for that I like their work, and show no favoritism on one artist over the other, it's just unfair.

I'll talk about some of the sports teams that I hate the most.

New York Yankees- This is pretty obvious, coming from a Red Sox fan like me among all Yankee haters, I hate the Yankees for all the obvious reasons, that they're like a bottomless pit of cash that they can use to hog all the stars like Big Unit, A-Rod, etc. that they believe MLB has to give them the World Championship because they spend the most money than any other team, with their payroll topping near or over $200 million. Their fans are so absorbed with the team and they act casual, assuming they can beat the Red Sox every time they face them. Fact was, that all changed in last year's ALCS, but even after the Sox triumph, the other things like "Bleepin'" to describe ex-Yankees named Dent and Boone, or phantom tags that had given downright bad out calls from umpires. It still boils in my blood to this very day.

Notre Dame Football- Sure, they aren't the team that was atop the college football world, like, nearly 17 years ago, but like the Yankees, their fans are absorbed into thinking that the Irish always have potential for 10+ win seasons and national championships, now, I hold no grudge against ND's other sports teams (though their men's basketball team handed Boston College the first loss of the season last week) but the fact is, the rest of the elite programs have caught up! Now the Irish have been owned by the likes of USC, Purdue, and especially Catholic rival BC, which isn't as powerful, or historic, but has owned their number, winning 4 straight and 5 out of their last 6 as a matter of fact! Just think back to 1993, when they were the #1 team after beating previously top ranked Florida $tate, and lost to BC, on a last-second field goal, in a game that some believed is the main reason for the program's downfall. And don't believe they'll bounce back to that elite status anytime soon, as the questionable firing of black coach Ty Willingham has left a negative mark on the school, which will affect recruting, especially black players. Only good thing about this, is that they won't play BC again until 2007. God knows what those crazy people in South Bend must be up to...

Duke basketball- Another team we love to hate, especially UNC and Maryland fans alike, but unlike the Yankees and ND, it's the way referees call Duke games that drive opposing fans crazy. Didn't Duke get 49 something free throw attempts in a game a few weeks back? Another reason Duke is hated, is that all they do is win. A true dynasty is one where there is a beginning, and where it must end, but the fact is, there is not an end in sight, and they're won't be one anytime soon, especially when Coach K is still around. Plus, don't you feel you want to puke when you always hear about Dick "Dookie" Vitale giving praise to said team and coach? Does it make you want to make an IM to a Maryland student and ask if they have one of those "F*** you J.J." (Redick) T-shirts, so that you can wear it whenever Duke plays? If you answered yes to those questions, you better believe it, 'cuz I would wanna' do those things!
